Mazatlan .- With the aim of ending the mordidas “bribes”, the City Council is already working on a legal strategy to encourage transit police, announced Mayor Luis GuillermoBenítez Torres.

After announcing the most recent change in the command of this corporation, the mayor said that it is a project in which agents will receive a supplement based on the fines they produce.

“We are working on a project so that transit police receive a supplement; it is a legal strategy via a percentage of the fines that they elaborate, we want to end the vices of the bites (…) I promised order, I promised to regulate and I am doing that, “he said.

El Químico Benítez concluded that, along with this strategy, programs will also be created so that children can learn about road rules.
