United Airlines resuming the flights to Cancun, Mexico after pandemic

Flying on eight new routes, United Airlines is growing operations to 19 locations in the New Caribbean and Mexico. This is the first time the airlines has announced the international flights after the pandemic. United Airlines confirmed the resumption of direct flights would be scheduled between Cleveland and Cancun, Mexico from December 19. Following the outbreak in August 2019, flights to Cancun were halted.

The direct flight is scheduled to depart from Hopkins every Saturday for Cancun at 9:15 a.m. and arrive at 13:03 a.m. in Cancun. The return trip will take off at 14:05 for Cancun, arriving at 17:33.

This seasonal destination can end at any time in spring. As business travel remains highly impoverished due to the coronavirus outbreak, the service further proves that the airline is scaling up plans to advance its recreational passengers’ attraction.

Presently, Spirit Airlines operates to Cleveland and Cancun, and in December, Frontier Airlines is expected to restart its Cancun operation from Hopkins.
