More than a pretty face, Patricia Donna can fix software, set up internet channels for you, replace auto upholstery, create lovely custom women’s garments and since she speaks FIVE languages, Patricia can translate documents for you.
As a native of The Netherlands, Patricia is used to being around the ocean so she didn’t come to Mexico for ocean views. “I had agoraphobia for 28 years. I am a computer nerd so I started an internet Channel as a personal challenge. 
I was amazed at how quickly I had a lot of followers. I interviewed people about healing and their experiences, and told my story online.” said Patricia.
“When my beloved cats that I had for 15 years died within one week, I was devastated. My audience knew about my story and they encouraged me to move abroad as I mentioned that I wanted to get back out into the world.
My viewers encouraged me to leave my home after 20 years. I made that big leap with their moral support to move to Mexico. It turned out that one of the people I knew very well online, his brother lived in Lo de Marcos and that’s how it all came to be.”
As a former model and TV actress, Patricia has first-hand knowledge of fashion and style. She combines this flair with sewing skill to create custom garments that are popular in Lo de Marcos. Besides alterations, creating made to order women’s clothing, Patricia is experienced with automotive and furniture upholstery as the following photos indicate.
In addition to the textile skills Patricia is also is certified as a Quantum Hypnosis Healing Therapy practitioner (QHHT developed by Dolores Cannon.) She works online and in person with clients. ”It is very rewarding to help people make sense out of their own lives or trauma and to help them begin to heal.” Each session is about 3 hours and requires a lot of preparation, such as meditation and calming the mind, as well for Patricia as the client. She feels that “Healing is a big part of my own life, and healers are not without issues themselves, as many people think. That is a misconception, but practitioners can relate better to others that suffer due to their own experiences.”
As an ardent advocate for animals, Patricia is shocked by the number of feral dogs and cats. “I love animals, I like to connect with them and I am seeing animals suffering here. It is so different from what I am used to, as in the Netherlands we don’t even have stray animals because there are government run hospitals, ambulances for animals besides animal care centers.” She has rescued several Lo de Marco cats and is feeding others. Acknowledging that she is a perfectionist, Patricia feels that attention to detail is why she has repeat customers. “I’m a perfectionist, either I do it well, or I don’t do it at all. I enjoy accomplishing a challenging task! The majority of my clients are pleasantly surprised at superior quality of my finished work.”
