The Consular Agency of Canada in Puerto Vallarta is actively looking for a Canadian Warden for the Nayarit-Guayabitos District to act as a point of contact between the Embassy of Canada in Mexico and Canadians in this area for the purpose of conveying information and facilitate communication with the Embassy in an emergency situation or for other consular purposes when necessary. The Nayarit-Guayabitos District includes the municipality of Compostela (Los Ayala, Guayabitos, La Peñita, etc.), as well as other municipalities in Nayarit less frequented by Canadians.
Wardens across the world have played an important role by connecting Canadians in their community and assisting Canadians during emergency situations. This opportunity will allow you to stay connected with your community and the Embassy, and only requires a minimal time commitment.
Wardens should be Canadian citizens who are long term residents in Mexico and known in the community. Please note the role of a Canadian Warden is strictly voluntary and carries no official status or remuneration.

L’Agence consulaire du Canada à Puerto Vallarta recherche un coordonnateur d’urgence pour le district de Nayarit-Guayabitos, pour agir comme point de contact entre l’ambassade et les Canadiens dans cette région, afin de transmettre de l’information ainsi que de faciliter la communication avec l’ambassade dans une situation d’urgence, ou lorsque des besoins consulaires sont requis. Le district de Nayarit-Guayabitos inclut la municipalité de Compostela (Los Ayala, Guayabitos, La Peñita, entre autres) et d’autres municipalités de Nayarit moins fréquentées par les Canadiens.
Les coordonnateurs devraient être citoyens canadiens, résidents à long terme au Mexique, et être bien connus dans leur communauté. Cette opportunité vous permet de rester branché avec votre communauté et avec l’ambassade, et requiert un engagement de temps minimum.
Le rôle d’un coordonnateur d’urgence est assumé de façon purement bénévole; le coordonnateur d’urgence ne jouit d’aucun statut officiel, ne reçoit aucune rémunération et ne peut demander le remboursement de ses dépenses.
