Aloha Restaurant Delivers More than Pizza

What started as a dream for a teenage boy is now a sucessful La Penita business. Adrian Garcia and his lovely wife, Brissa Casillas, have worked hard for 12 years to build a menu and cliente base. “We started with just pizza but as we learned more, we added other types of food,” explains Adrian. “Aloha Restaurant currently provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and pizza!” The restaurant now has 6 chefs and 15 waiters who serve from 7:30 am continuously until midnight. With a full bar and choice of coffee machines you can indulge in any of your favorite beverages with your meal. Yep, even a tasty fresh fruit smoothie to cool you down after shopping. Being on the main avenida makes Aloha accessible to foot traffic, taxi or drive up customers. In addition, if you don’t feel like leaving your hotel room, Aloha Restaurant & Pizza has 5 delivery guys each shift!
Now that their oldest daughters, Jatziry (18, left photo with parents) and Fernanda (16, center pic) are interested, you can see the girls working at the family business. Mom, Brissa, typically works the morning shift to manage the day’s ordering, employee scheduling etc. Brissa said, “I worked in the kitchen when we first started. All of the items on the menu I have tested and selected those that meet my standards.” It is Brissa’s flair that is evident in the charming casual decor that is refreshed every fall.
As you can see from the menu, there are great options for each type of meal. Besides the mouth-watering pizza, the European style breakfasts are very popular: omelets, French toast, Bagels, waffles crowned with fruit and whipped cream besides traditional eggs.
You don’t have to worry about being in a culinary rut-the Aloha chefs have a rotating special of the day. Don’t feel like cooking? Everything from beef steak or ribs, chicken, fresh fish, to traditional Mexican dishes such as burritos, fajitas, cervice can be prepared as a takeout order.
